Lonnie Jacobs, Percussion Instructor
Mr. Lonnie Jacobs is currently a full-time student at Middle Georgia State University, playing in the MGA Percussion Ensemble while completing his bachelor's degree majoring in Music: Performance and minoring in Music: Production.

While pursuing his musical career, he teaches part-time at Veterans High School as Drumline Instructor during the Marching Band season in the fall, head of the Percussion Ensemble group during the spring, and as the Percussion Instructor during school hours year-round. Mr. Jacobs has been privileged to have studied under the great Mr. Miguel Castro since high school and into the present day, playing and learning new things from Mr. Castro every day.

Mr. Jacobs in his high school years was a proud member of the Warner Robins High School Demon Marching Band, becoming a four-year drumline veteran, being the drumline lieutenant in 2020 and the Drum Captain/Center Snare in 2021. Mr. Jacobs would also enjoy playing in the WRHS Symphonic Band and WRHS Percussion Ensemble for all four years and assist with the Concert Band and Advanced Concert Band, receiving the Instrumentalist Magazine Musicianship Award and a few scholarships for his college education.

Mr. Jacobs plans to one day make his name known to the world through his music as a composer, player/conductor, educator/instructor, and producer in the future.
