Shelby Lee, Color Guard Instructor
Shelby has been the Veterans High School Color Guard Instructor since 2021. She started her colorguard experience while spinning for her high school, Pace High, out of Pace, FL. She spun four consecutive years with the program in which they competed annually at WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH with the Pace High Winterguard program and bi-annually at the FMBC State Championships in Tampa, FL with the Pace High Marching Band program. Some of the accomplishments made by the team during the time include first place at the FMBC State Championships, gold medalist for the GCGPC Championships 3 consecutive years in a row, 5th place overall A Class at WGI World Championships, gold medalist at the WGI Orlando Regional, and many more. Shelby also spent her post-graduate year competing for an independent group out of Jay, FL where they won the GCGPC Championship for the Independent A Class. Shelby continued her education in the colorguard world by attending many clinicals taught by the impressive Paramount Winterguard out of Atlanta, GA.
Shelby began teaching Color Guard in 2019 for Perry High School out of Perry, GA where she led the team to win multiple competitions as well as Grand Guard. She then transitioned to the Perry High School Winterguard program where she taught both the Varsity and JV team who participated in many SAPA circuit competitions in Atlanta, GA in which both teams placed at each competition attended. Shelby joined the Veteran's High School Warhawk Squadron and has continued to share her colorguard experience and knowledge with our team while also being a loving mother of her 6 year old daughter, Ayla.

Shelby currently resides in Bonaire, GA with her fiance and blended family of 3 children.
